Dzisiejszy dzień rozpoczął się wyjątkowo miło - informacją o dwóch nagrodach, jakie zdobyłem w trzecim tegorocznym konkursie AG|WPJA: 10. miejsce w kategorii "Przygotowania" oraz 13. miejsce w kategorii "Przyjęcie weselne".
My day began today with a good news that in the Q3 contest of the AGWPJA, 2 of my photos were awarded, winning 10th place in "Getting Ready" category and 13th place in "Reception" category.

Z wielką przyjemnością i ogromną satysfakcją pragnę podzielić się wiadomością, którą właśnie otrzymałem. Mój pierwszy udział w konkursie organizowanym przez WPJA zaaowocował 6. miejscem w kategorii "Przygotowania". Jest to dla mnie duże wyróżnienie, gdyż rywalizowałem z najlepszymi fotografami ślubnymi na świecie, a w konkursie zostało nagrodzonych zaledwie 360 zdjęć spośród ponad 24 tysięcy zgłoszonych.

"Pieknie zobaczone. Odbicie jest dobrze umiejscowione na układance ludzkich twarzy, a malujące się na nich uczucie podziwu dodaje zdjęciu jeszcze większego wrażenia".

With great pleasure and unhidden satisfaction, I would like to share with you a good news, which I've just received. My first attempt at a WPJA photo contest resulted in a 6th place award in 'Getting ready' category. It is a true merit to me, as I have been competing with the greatest wedding photojournalists in the world. Only 360 out of more than 24 thousand photos submitted to the contest were awarded.
Judges comments were:
'Beautifully seen. The reflection is well placed among layers of faces. The look of awe adds even more power.'

Udało się!
Zostałem przyjęty do elitarnego Stowarzyszenia Fotoreporterów Ślubnych (Wedding Photojournalist Association - WPJA) oraz jego artystycznej sekcji The Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (AG|WPJA). Zrzeszają one najlepszych na świecie fotoreporterów ślubnych pracujących w oparciu o dokumentalne podejście oraz artystyczną wizję. Wystarczy powiedzieć, że rygorystyczne wymogi członkostwa w tych stowarzyszeniach spełnia zaledwie 5% fotografów ślubnych.
Z pewnością będzie to dla mnie dodatkowa motywacja do dalszego rozwijania się i tworzenia dla Was jeszcze piękniejszych zdjęć. I być może uda się też wywalczyć coś w organizowanych przez WPJA i AG|WPJA konkursach. Czas pokaże.
Tak czy inaczej - jestem szczęśliwy i dumny, że moje prace zostały docenione przez tak znamienite jury jakim jest WPJA.

I have succeeded!
I have become a member of the prestigious Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) and its Artistic Guild (AG|WPJA). They are professional organizations composed of the best photojournalists and wedding photographers from around the world. Their members present candid, documentary approach and a distinctly artistic vision toward wedding photography. Suffice it to say that a mere 5% of wedding photographers in the world meet the rigorous criteria for becoming a member of the WPJA. Even less of both the WPJA and the AG|WPJA.
I'm sure this will give me some extra motivation to keep getting a better photojournalist and make even more beautiful photographs for you. Hopefully I will also prove myself in WPJA and AGWPJA photo contests.
One way or another, I am very happy and proud to get good notices from such an eminent jury as the WPJA.
